Dr. Manul Das
MBBS, MD (Consultant Psychiatrist)
Dr. Manul Das is a highly skilled Psychiatrist with a strong academic background and extensive clinical experience. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, and pursued his MD in Psychiatry from the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry. During his postgraduate training, he was awarded the Endowment Prize for the Best Outgoing Postgraduate in Psychiatry, reflecting his academic excellence.
Following his MD, Dr. Das worked as a Senior Resident in Psychiatry at AIIMS Deoghar and later joined the Clinical Research Training Programme Fellowship at the Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi. As part of this fellowship, he received advanced hands-on training in neuromodulation techniques including repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS), transcranial Alternating Current Stimulation (tACS), and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
Dr. Das enrolled in a PhD program at NIMHANS in 2022 and is expected to submit his doctoral thesis this year. He has several academic publications, including research articles and book chapters in psychiatry.
Clinically, Dr. Das is known for his compassionate, patient-centered approach and strong listening skills. His areas of expertise include mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic spectrum disorders, obsessive–compulsive disorder, substance addiction, personality disorders, psychogenic sexual disorders, and sleep-related conditions.
